Grant Application Overview & Eligibility
At Fido’s Future Foundation, we believe in empowering organizations that are creating real change for animals in need. Through our Grants Program, we provide financial support to nonprofits working to rescue, protect, and improve the lives of dogs and companion animals in Connecticut and Florida.
Grant applications are accepted twice a year—in June (deadline April 30th) and December (deadline October 30th)—to ensure timely and strategic support where it’s needed most.
Purpose
Fido’s Future Foundation provides financial assistance through grants to nonprofit organizations that care for animals or work to reduce the number of homeless, abandoned, or relinquished dogs. Our grants are designed to strengthen the capacity of animal welfare organizations and support projects that deliver measurable outcomes in rescue, care, and community outreach.
In addition to shelter support, we may fund programs that:
-
Promote responsible and humane treatment of animals
-
Offer canine-assisted wellness or emergency response services
-
Provide public education on animal welfare and responsible pet ownership
We aim to fulfill these goals either directly through our own efforts or by empowering others doing this critical work.
